It's developed by Ledge Top Technologies LLC in Greenleaf, Wisconsin, and battle-tested daily in our own service businesses. Every feature exists because we needed it ourselves first.

Open source first

The full platform is on GitHub. Read it, audit it, self-host it, fork it. Paid hosting is a convenience, never a lock-in.

Project-Alpha was created by Beau Koltz — a developer and small-business owner based in Greenleaf, Wisconsin. After running service businesses and juggling quotes, contracts, and invoices across five different apps, he built Project-Alpha to be the tool he wished existed: one platform for quotes, contracts, invoices, client organizations, and more — designed for small businesses that need real software without the enterprise bloat.

Beau develops and maintains Project-Alpha through Ledge Top Technologies LLC, his technology company focused on practical, open-source software for small businesses. Every feature in Project-Alpha is battle-tested in real service work before it ships.
